December 20, 2008 Aileen and Eddie Wedding

It was cold, in Aileen and Eddie wedding day, in San Francisco. But I was wearing short sleeve, why?? It was their passion and love, this cute newly wed couple had melted me away. As a matter of fact, the whole wedding party was a like a big burning oven, see the photos for the heat they were radiated!

September 20, 2008 Akiko and Hiroshi Reception

Later afternoon, blue sky, champagne glasses, Tux's and high heels, rose padels, convertible, dance and laughters... and shutter clicks...

Thank you "My Day" to assign to me such a beauful event. See it for yourself...

This event was a Reception party for Akiko and Hiroshi's Friend in US, they already had their ceremony in Japan. The location of this reception is in Dolce Hayes Mansions in San Jose. The environment of the hotel is very good, you can see all of the photos were taken in the hotel area. Akiko and Hiroshi has done a very good job organized this event, to ensure that their friends were comfortable and entertained. At the same time managed to keep the photographers busy:> (That certainly wasn't in their agenda but more like a side effect).

Beautiful host always have beautiful guests.

Jason, my 2nd photographer has also done an excellent job capturing beautiful moments like this one. I am in this shot, can you find me?

A week before the event, I called up Akiko to talk about event detail. She mentioned that at the end of the party, their friends would line up with sparklers to make a sparkler tunnel. I was very excited about this opportunity as I have not photographed this famous sparkler tunnel before. So I did some research on how this is normally photograph. To my surprise, I couldn't find much info online. So I created a plan which allow me to make quick adjust based on the difficulty situation. My planning work paid off, and the outcomming is nothing short from stunning.
